Minister of Information, Maxwell Charles, said several key sectors stand to benefit significantly from the successful passage of the 2014 Supplementary Estimates.
The estimates, amounting to 83-million 890-thousand, 800 dollars, were by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, in Parliament on Wednesday.
Contributing to the debate today, Minister Charles said the financing is necessary to ensure growth in the national economy following the Christmas Eve disaster.
And, Minister Charles said the funding is necessary to continue the works being done to restore the
Vermont River, and others across the country.
