A National Conference aimed at promoting good Workplace Safety Practices will be held here later this week.
The St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited VINLEC will host the Conference on Occupational Safety and Health this Thursday at the National Insurance Services Conference Facility.
Chief Executive Officer of VINLEC Thornley Myers says several issues will be addressed during the Business Session of the Conference on Thursday.
Mr. Myers says a highlight of the Conference will be a presentation on the Economics of Safety and Health by Dr. Mineva Glasgow.
An official opening ceremony for the Conference will take place at the NIS Conference Room on Wednesday, beginning at 5pm.
