The Forestry Department in the Ministry of Agriculture has expressed concern about river poisoning, which appears to be on the rise.

Forestry Officer Bradford Latham, says although this practice is traditionally carried out during the Easter period, there have been reports of rivers being poisoned during the month of January

Mr. Latham said the reports indicate that the rivers in Diamond and Fancy were poisoned
Mr. Latham says the authorities need the support of the community, to ensure that the perpetrators are caught.
