A Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Martinique will be signed here this Friday.
A release from the Alliance Francaise says a five-year Reconductable Agreement will be signed by Education Minister Girlyn Miguel and Chief Education Officer of the Academy of Martinique, Dr. Catherine Bertho Lavenir.
The agreement will include training for teachers of French, physical and virtual mobility for teachers and students, development and promotion of the teaching of French in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and of English in Martinique.
It will be signed in partnership with the French Embassy for the OECS Member State based in St. Lucia, represented by Dr. Jean-Luc Mure, officer for cooperation and cultural action and the Alliance Française of St. Vincent and the Grenadines represented by its President Ali Medjahed.
The ceremony will be held at the Alliance Française at 11:30am on Friday.
