The National Bipartite Seminar

Representatives from the Trade Union Movement will be involved in a Seminar on Wednesday September 23rd, 2015 organized by the Caribbean Congress of Labour (CCL) and the Caribbean Employers Confederation.

The National Bipartite Seminar is aimed at strengthening the capacity of both Organisations with the overall objective of supporting their affiliates in taking advantage of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union.

The Seminar is designed to disseminate information and harness the support of the affiliate Trade Unions and Employer Organisations in an effort to maximize the impact of the project in individual territories as well as the region as a whole.

Participants will be drawn from the Public Service Union (PSU), the Commercial, Technical and Allied Workers Union (CTAWU) and the Employers Federation.
The Seminar will be held at the Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday 23rd September.

A release from the Public Service Union says the project is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
