Persons who have benefited from the government’s land distribution at 10 and 50 cents per square foot are being urged to pay for the lands and secure their deeds.
Speaking at the presentation of offer letters to 38 residents of Dubois last Friday, former parliamentarian Sir. Louis Straker told the recipients not to wait around and sit on the letters, but to ensure that they go out and get their deeds.
From 2001 to present the government has distributed approximately 4,500 plots of land to citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
