Attendees at the Kingstown Methodist Church are still trying to come to grips with a traumatic and frightening event, which occurred on Sunday, January 31st 2016.
Minister of the Kingstown Congregation and Superintendent of the Kingstown and Cateaubelair Circuit- Reverend Adolph Davis told NBC News that sometime between 7:45 and 8:15 Sunday morning, during worship, a young male, believed to be in his early 20s entered the church with a cutlass.
Reverend Davis said they are confident that it was the hands and grace of God why the incident did not turn tragic.
