IT DAT Athletics Academy are the 2016 National Athletics Champions here after winning the Women’s Division of the Championships with 247 points and placing second in the Men’s Division with 510 points for an overall Total of 669 points.
Xcel Track Club was second overall with 568 points. They won the Men’s Division with 510 points and were second in the Women’s Division with 226 points.
Third overall was X-Ceed Sports Club (540 points), followed by High Performance Club (322), Chatoyer (165), Bequia United Athletics Club (146) and System 3 (27).
The Track Events of the Championships were held on Saturday and Sunday at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex, following the Field Events held earlier this month.
