Secondary school students throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines will have an opportunity to learn more about the new polymer bank notes being circulated in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).
This will be done through a workshop to be hosted by the local office of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) as part of activities to observe Financial Information Month.
Financial Information Month is a regional financial, economic, business and entrepreneurial education campaign that has been executed in the ECCU since 2002.
Representative of the ECCB, Beverly Richards, said the workshop is scheduled to take place on October 15th at the Frenches House, commencing at 10:30 AM.
Miss Richards said the ECCB will also be hosting a number of public outreach initiatives to educate persons about financial management.
