
Twenty-nine Young people in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been selected to be part of the Prime Ministerial Advisory Council, which was launched last night.
The members will have an opportunity to contribute to the decision making process of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
In his address at the launching ceremony at the Methodist Church Hall, Chairman Anson Latchman said the Council is geared towards advocating for the youth and enhancing youth development in SVG.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves outlined a list of sectorial groups that are being represented on the Prime Ministerial Youth Advisory Council.
Dr. Gonsalves said each Chairman will work in their individual areas but the group is expected to function as a whole.
