Leader of the Opposition Dr Godwin Friday said despite the hardships faced by the Indians when they arrived, they realized the hope with which they left their homeland.
The 164th Arrival Day was commemorated on June 1st at Indian Bay, with a reenactment of the first boat to arrive on the island with Indians.
