This year’s Belfongo Football League will open on Sunday at the Belair Playing at 3.00 p.m.
11 teams including Defending League Champions, LLB Street Kickers and Knock-out Champions, Fresh will compete in the Championships this year.
The organisers have introduced a new feature to the season. From this year, the Season’s Opening match will be between the League and Knock-out Champions for the Ron Noel Memorial Trophy. The Team winning the Trophy on three consecutive occasions will keep it permanently.
On Sunday, apart from the Opening match, there will be the usual parade of the competing teams and addresses by Football and other officials.
