There victories for ECGC, Transport and Works, Coreas/Hazells and Central Water and Sewage Authority in last weekend’s Knockout matches of the Digicel/Aeropost Firms Breakaway Football Championship at the Grammar School Playing Field.
ECGC beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines Port Authority 4-1, Transport and Works defeated VINLEC Energy Savers 4-3 on penalties after a one draw at the end of regulation time, Coreas/Hazells beat LIME 4-2 also on penalties after a goalless draw at the end of regulation time and Central Water and Sewage Authority eased past Prime Minister’s 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw at the end of regulation time also.
This afternoon, General Post Office will meet ECGC in the first quarter-final match from half past four at the Grammar School Playing Field.
The Officials are John Hinds, Leevan Victory, Samuel Jack and Albert Edwards.
