Jebelles FC defeated System (3) 4-3 and defending champions Avenues United beat BESCO Pastures 2-nil in yesterday’s matches of the Premier Division National of the Football Club Championships at Victoria Park here in Kingstown.
System (3) currently top the points table with points, the same as BESCO Pastures. However, System (3) have a superior goal difference, defending champions, Avenues United are on 9 points.
On Saturday, Layou United and Hope International played to a one all draw, while GTM Prospect United was leading Campdonia Chelsea 1-nil at the Sion Hill Playing Field in the second half when the match was called off because of heavy rains. That match will be played over at a later date.
