Rain forced an early end to the 4th One Day International Cricket match, as New Zealand ran out comfortable winners on Duckworth/Lewis, defeating the West Indies by 58 runs at Saxton Oval in Neilson on Saturday.

According to windiescricket.com Martin Guptill’s 87 led the Kiwis to 285 for 6 in the 4th One Day International against the West Indies.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first on the day at Saxton Oval makes its International debut in Nelson.

The final scores: New Zealand Innings: 285 for 6 off 50-overs; Martin Guptill 81, Ross Taylor 49, Jesse Ryder 47, Kane Williamson 47; Dwayne Bravo two for 35.

West Indies Innings in replied reached 134 for 5 off 33.4-overs; Dwayne Bravo 43 not out, Lendl Simmons 43, Kirk Edwards 24, Denesh Ramdin 17.

The 5th and final match will be played on Wednesday, that’s tomorrow Caribbean Time in Hamilton.
