Local cricket is set to resume this upcoming weekend (8th & 9th February 2014), starting with the Premier Division level. Just promoted
Police (1) will start their 2014 season playing Team Rivals 1, who was shared title holder with Victors 1 last season.
Police One and Team Rivals 1 match up will take place at Arnos Vale 2 playing field. This will be the lone match this weekend.

The First Division season will bowl off on the following weekend, 16th February 2014, with teams greatly anticipating the NEW one day format, following the decision taken at last AGM to restructure the cricket at that level.
The restructuring will now facilitate the early commencement of the Local Female Tournament, which is also set to start in early March, 2014.
Last year local season saw some outstanding performances, with 11 centuries, and 4 ten wickets hauls.
The SVGCA takes this opportunity to wish all the teams and players the very best for the 2014 season.
