On Saturday 24 January 2015, TASVG recognized Kineke Alexander as the Most Outstanding Athlete for her unbeatable 2014 performances.

Her 2014 performances saw her winning both the 200 and 400-meters at the OECS Championships in St Kitts, making the semi-finals in the 200m and placing sixth in the final of the 400m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and sixth in the final of the 400m at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Vera Cruz, Mexico.

During her 2014 campaign she attained her personal bests in the 60m dash indoor in Houston Texas, and in the 400m, returning times of 7.34 seconds and 51.23 seconds respectively. She also set a new meet record in the Reville Indoor Invitational in the USA in the 200 metres, lowering the previous record of 23.72 seconds to 23.65 seconds.

However, while TASVG were honouring her, Kineke was once again carrying the national flag at the Lobo Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Kineke had a very exceptional day posting two world leading time in the 400m, – 52.66 and 23.33sec in the 200m.

The 200m time of 23.33 sec also breaks the St. Vincent and the Grenadines national indoor record of 23.54sec which was set 2 yrs ago.

Not to be outdone Courtney Williams, ran a season best 22.32 sec, placing 3rd in his 200m heat.
