Female Athlete, Kineke Alexander was recognized by Team Athletics SVG at the Most Outstanding Athlete for her unbeatable 2014 performances.

Alexander won both the 200 and 400-metres at the OECS Championships in St Kitts, making the semi-finals in the 200-metres and placing 6th in the final of the 400-metres at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland, and 6th in the final of the 400-metres at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Vera Cruz, Mexico.

During her 2014 campaign she attained her personal bests in the 60-metres dash indoor in Houston Texas, and in the 400-metres, returning times of 7.34 seconds and 51.23 seconds respectively. She also set a new meet record in the Reville Indoor Invitational in the USA in the 200-metres, lowering the previous record of 23.72 seconds to 23.65 seconds.

However, while Team Athletics SVG were honouring Alexander, she was once again carrying the National Flag at the Lobo Collegiate Invitational in AL-BU-QUER-QUE, New Mexico.

Kineke Alexander had a very exceptional day posting two world leading times in the 400-metres, 52.66 seconds and 23.33 seconds in the 200-metres.

The 200-metres time of 23.33 seconds also breaks the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Indoor record of 23.54 seconds which was set 2 years ago.

Not to be outdone Courtney Williams, ran a season best 22.32 seconds, placing 3rd in his 200-metres heat.
