Team Athletics SVG First Road Race Results

Caswell Lewis won the Bequia 5K Road Race held on Sunday September 20, 2015.

It is the first Event in Team Athletics SVG’s 2015 5K Road Race Series.

Lewis of IT.DAT Club, completed the race in 19 minutes, 29.51 seconds. His Club mates, Akani Slater and Ryan John competing in the Mal Under-19 Division were second and third respectively. Slater in a time of 19 minutes, 29.97 seconds, and John in 19 minutes, 30.51 seconds.

Linda Mc Dowald representing IT.DAT Club won the Women’s Division in 19 minutes, 39.09 seconds. Ranalda Ollivierre of the Bequia Swimming Club was second in 29 minutes, 20.02 seconds.

These are the Divisional results:

In the Under-15 Males: 1st was Cameron Alves of Bequia Swimming Club in 34 minutes, 25.44 seconds, Dereckson Trimmingham of Paget Farm Government School in 34 minutes, 51.69 seconds and third was Oshawn Hazell of Bequia United in 35 minutes, 15.55 seconds.

In the Under-19 Females: 1st was Tamara Woodley of IT.DAT in 28 minutes, 05.19 seconds, second was Ashwanza Hazell of Bequia United in 35 minutes, 14.44 seconds.

In the Under-19 Males: 1st was Akani Slater IT.DAT in 19 minutes, 29.97 seconds, Ryan John of IT.DAT was second in 19 minutes, 30.51 seconds and 3rd was Slyford Lampkin of IT.DAT in 21 minutes, 09.05 seconds.

In the 19 Plus Females: 1st was Linda Mc Dowald of IT.DAT in 19 minutes, 39.09 seconds, second was Ranalda Ollivierre of the Bequia Swimming Club in 29 minutes, 51.02 seconds.

And, in the 19 Plus Males: 1st was Caswell Lewis of IT.DAT in 19 minutes, 29.51 seconds, Tauran Ollivierres of Bequia Swimming Club in 29 minutes, 20.02 seconds.

Team Athletics SVG’s Road Race Calendar will continue on October 4, 2015 with a 5K race which will start and end at the Biabou Playing Field. The Race starts time 3 pm.
