GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES NETBALL
A new champion will be crowned in this year’s Government Ministries Netball Championship, after the Ministry of National Reconciliation beat defending champions Ministry of Transport and Works 27-15 in yesterday’s quarter-final match at the Kingstown Netball Center at New Montrose.
In the other quarter-final match, the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture had the better of the Ministry of National Security 30-23.
In the semi-final today, the Ministry of Reconciliation will meet the Ministry of Health and the Environment at 4:30 pm, followed by the match between Customs and the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture.
SION HILL NETBALL
Stinger Girls defeated newcomers- Pacers Netball Team 32-12 in yesterday’s match in Division (2) of the Vita Malt Sion Hill Netball Championship at the Sion Hill Playing Field Hard Court.
Tomorrow, there will be a Division (1) fixture between Yanja Young Strugglers and Nice Radio Clinchers from 5:30 pm also at the Sion Hill Hard Court.
