Veteran long distance runner, Pamenos Ballantyne of Chatoyer Club won the Men’s 19+ race of Team Athletics SVG Log Enterprises Byrea 5K Road Race on Sunday in a time of 15 minutes, 38.28 seconds.

Second in the Men’s 19+ was Meshach Dublin of IT-DAT in 15 minutes, 57.21 seconds and Junior Ashton also of Chatoyer Club third in 16 minutes, 04.56 seconds.

Linda Mc Dowall of IT DAT Club won the 19+ Women’s Race in 17 minutes, 33.18 seconds, while Sorenya Miller also of IT-DAT finished second in 25 minutes, 42.36 seconds.

1ST – Newman Peters SMSS 18:13.61
2ND – Marc James Melisizwe Track 21:14.25
3RD – Hendrickson Campbell SMSS 22:58.53

U-15 FEMALES
1ST – Odesha John X-Ceed 23:21.75
2ND – Akesha Best IHS 31:04.28

U-19 MALES
1ST – Akani Slater IT Dat 16:26.64
2ND – Ryan John It Dat 16:42.46
3RD – Akeem Benn It Dat 18:43.36

U-19 FEMALES
1ST – Kerina Hooper X-Ceed 21:15.04

40+ MALES
1ST – Roger Young Unattached 20:59.25
2ND – Joonyah Garrick Unattached 22:55.78

40+ FEMALES
1st was Samantha Lynch of IT-DAT in 28 minutes, 02.18 seconds.

The Road Race Calendar will continue on Sunday with the staging of the Central Leeward 5K race starting at Pembroke and ending at Layou. Race start time is 3 pm.
