Football Updates

* Police Masters defeated Sion Hill Masters 2-nil in one two opening matches played on Tuesday in the National Lotteries Authority St. Vincent and the Grenadines Over-35 Masters Football Championship at Victoria Park.

* Defending champions, South Leeward Masters beat Vintage Gold Masters 3-nil.

The other scheduled match between Calliaqua Masters and SESCO, Masters was re-scheduled.

* The Championship will continue this evening also at Victoria Park. Matches are being played on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Victoria Park.

* Tuesday’s Group (B) match in the COMSPORT/KPMG/ Hairoun Arnos Vale Football League between Choppins and Toney FC ended in a goalless draw at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.

* While yesterday’s match between COMPUTEC VINCY Masters and Primus Mini Mart Largo Height was been postponed. That match will now be played on Saturday.

* At 4:30 this afternoon, Kingstown Bible College (KBC) will meet Cato’s Heavy Equipment Strike Force in the First Division Group (A) match also at Arnos Vale (2) Playing Field.

* Yesterday’s Second Round Knockout match in the Senior Division of the Digicel/Aeropost/St. Vincent Brewery Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championships between Gaymes Pharmacy and BRAGSA at the Grammar School Playing Field was postponed because of the weather.

* Today at 4:30 pm, BMC Combined Couriers will meet CK Greaves in another Second Round Knockout match in the Senior Division also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
