Triple crowned champions Team Rivals beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s Cricket Team by 5 wickets in a Twenty/20 Practice match at the Park Hill Playing Field on Saturday.
The scores in the match St. Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s Cricket Team made 124 for 7 off 20-overs; Captain Lindon James was unbeaten on 41 not out, while Miles Bascombe made 33; Deighton Butler 2 for 23 and Olanzo Jackson 2 for 25 were Team Rivals wicket-takers.
Team Rivals 125 for 5 in 19.5-overs; Asif Hooper 49, Harley Skerritt 19.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s Cricket Team used the match in preparation for the 2013 WINLOTT Windward Islands Twenty/20 Tournament slated for Grenada later month.
