Joanna Welch scored (23) goals as Barrouallie defeated South Leeward 38-26 at the weekend in the Hairoun All Leeward Netball Competition at the Petit Bordel Secondary School Hard Court.
Also, Layou swept past North Leeward 66-27. Joanna Christopher was the top shooter for Layou with 45 goals, supported by Kerlyn Jeffers with 21 goals.
In other Netball results, Layou had a 45-43 victory over Barrouallie 45 to 43 in a close encounter. For Layou Joanna Christopher scored 39 goals and Rebecca Richards netted 21 goals for Barrouallie Rebecca Richards.
On, Saturday January 31st the Netball Final will be contested between South Leeward and Layou at the Keartons Hard Court.
