Vita Malt Maple are through to the Division (1) Knockout Final of the LIME National Netball Championship, after Maple were leading Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Valley Netters 52-14 at the end the second quarter at the Kingstown Netball Center at New Montrose.
Both teams were playing with players short, Maples with six players and Valley Netters with five players who decided not to return to the Court at the end of the 2nd quarter.
Earlier this week, Star Girls came from a seven-goal deficit in the first quarter to defeat Hill View 29-28 and clinch the Division (2) Knockout Title.
The Championship is scheduled to close on June 18th with the Division (1) Knockout Final between Western Union Mitres and Vita Malt Maple followed by the closing ceremony.
The Shooting Competition which was scheduled for Tuesday, has been rescheduled to June 16th at 4:45 pm. Each team will be represented by two players in full uniform.
