Sporting activities for the 2015-2016 academic year at the SVG Community College will culminate this week with the QuickCash Corp. National Lotteries SVG Community College Track Heats and Track and Field Meet on Tuesday 5th and Friday 8th April respectively.
The Track Heats to be held on Tuesday 5th April at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, will feature athletes from the six Divisional Teams: Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies, Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies, Year One Technical and Vocational Studies, Year Two Technical and Vocational Studies, The Division of Nursing and the Division of Teacher Education, vying for the eight available spots in the final of the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m male and female events.
The QuickCash Corp. National Lotteries SVG Community College Track and Field Meet slated for Friday 8th April at the Arnos Vale Playing Field, will see competition in twenty six events, as the five other divisions attempt to dethrone Year Two Technical and Vocational Studies, the Defending Champions.
The Track Heats and the Track and Field Meet will begin at 9:30am each day at the two respective venues.
