The next cycling event here will be the Dasco Pharmacy Cycling Races on 1st May.
There will be two categories of competition. The Elite Category will ride a distance of 46 miles starting at Howards Marine at Calliaqua to Colonarie, return to the Arnos Vale Roundabout, to Diamond, back to the Arnos Vale Roundabout, to the finish at Howard’s Marine at Calliaqua.
The Masters Category Race will be from Calliaqua to Colonarie, to the Arnos Vale Roundabout and also finish at Howards Marine at Calliaqua, a distance of 36 miles.
Following representation made to the Traffic Department of the Royal St Vincent and the Police, three Police outriders assisted by officials from the Ministry Sports will monitor the races to ensure the safety of the cyclists.
