The 2016 Digicel Kick Start Football Clinic opened at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Tuesday the 3rd of May.
30 boys between 14 and 16 years are attending the clinic being conducted by a team of coaches from Manchester City Football Club led by Lewis Childs, the Football Delivery Manager for Manchester City’s Football Schools program in the region.
Childs spoke at a News Conference held at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon after the first day’s coaching session, he said that the young Vincentian footballers were talented and very enthusiastic about the game.
At the end of the Clinic here, three of the young footballers will be selected to attend the Digicel Football Academy in Jamaica where they will have the opportunity to be selected for the Manchester City Football Camp in England.
