Mt Pleasant-Georgetown Cycling Races

Steve Ollivierre and Enroy Lewis emerged winners of last Sunday’s Cycling Events between Mt Pleasant and Bridgetown on the Eastern or Windward side of main-island St Vincent.

Ollivierre won the 3-Lap Masters race in 1 hour, 29 minutes, 0.17 seconds, with Randy Wilkinson 2nd in 1 hour, 29 minutes, 0.20 seconds, and Peter Durrant third in 1 hour, 30 minutes, 21 seconds. The race covered a distance of 26 miles.

Enroy Lewis outrode his competitors in the Elite Division, winning the 5-lap, 42-mile event in 2 hours, 40 minutes, 29.16 seconds, with Zefal Bailey 2nd in 2 hours, 40 minutes, 29.20 seconds, and Lucky Antrobus 3rd in 2 hours, 55 minutes, 15.55 seconds.

The next cycle event on the Road Calendar of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cycling Union will be 5th June at Argyle.
