* The Division of Teacher Education Team (2) and Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies won their matches yesterday in the second round of the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Netball Championship at the Villa Campus Courts.
The Division of Teacher Education Team (2) defeated defending champions, Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies 35-31 in extra time after the scores were level at 28 each at the end of regulation time. It was the first defeat for the defending champions this year.
Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies outplayed Division of Teacher Education Team (1), beating them 23-8.
This afternoon at two O’clock, the two Division of Teacher Education Teams (1) and (2) will meet and at 3 pm, Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies and Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies will play each other.
* KFC Strikers defeated OSCO Owia Warriors 25-19 yesterday in a Knockout match of the Vita Malt Sion Hill Netball Championship at the Hard Court of the Sion Hill Playing Field.
* Star Girls (1) beat Ajuba of Spring Village 46-35 in another Knockout match.
Today at 5:30 pm, G&T Enterprise Sydney Strikers will meet Youngsters of Barrouallie and at 6:15 pm, Sion Hill will oppose Trailblazers.
Both are Knockout matches and will also be played at the Hard Court of the Sion Hill Playing Field.
