Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture defeated defending champions NBC Radio 32-26 to clinch the 2013 Facey Trading Firms and Industrial Netball Championship last night at Kingstown Netball Center at New Montrose.
Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture led in all quarters, 11-6, 20-14, 28-18, finally at 32-26.
Janet Toney was the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture top goal shooter with 18 goals from 21 tries, supported by Janet Christopher who netted 14 goals from 20 tries.
Our own Skiddy Francis-Crick led NBC’s Radio top goal shooting with all 26 goals from 30 attempts.
Earlier, Ministry of Education beat Royal St. Vincent and Grenadines Police 41-22 to clinch the third place.
